I have a WIA benefit (wga 100% rejected, have benefit below social assistance level), but I found an internship during my workfit trajectory. I will receive 250 euros per month including travel expenses. Now I hear various stories from the UWV whether I am allowed to 'earn extra'. One says yes, another says partly and yet another says no... with a regular paid job you give up something on your benefit, but the work is always 'paying'. With volunteer work you may receive a maximum of 150 euros per month including travel expenses without this having consequences for your benefit. However, I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place and I can't get a good answer anywhere... what exactly am I allowed to keep? Where is that law written? Does it fall under paid work or volunteer work, or completely separate? Because the calculator on the UWV website does not work (it says that I cannot receive any benefit without other income), I can't get any further there eitherLawyer
It is best to split the 'wages' into 'wages' or 'compensation' and travel expenses. Travel expenses are not deducted from the benefit anyway. is it wages (employment contract) or compensation (volunteer work)? Difference is relevant. In principle, you are allowed to earn extra. The amount of the salary is important. This in relation to the exact ao percentage. Usually it is not exactly 100%, but you are in the category 80-100%. If you have any further questions/problems, I advise you to contact a specialized social security law attorney. They are usually members of the Specialization Association of Social Security Law Attorneys (SSZ)Take the next step
