Get your money back from your ex - Legal Advice

I still get 7000 euros from my ex. I have no proof but I do have confirmation via whatsapp that it concerns that amount. He says he lost all his work because I told everyone that he did not want to pay that big debt etc. Talking it out does not work How can I still get my money back?
