Legal advice on reviews and privacy

Questioner

I wrote a review about a webshop that did not deliver the product and did not refund the money. Now after 4 months of chasing after it I added the name, address and telephone number of the owner to the review. I received an immediate response and the money was transferred immediately. I then immediately received a message asking if I wanted to adjust the review. Now my question is: am I breaking the law if I leave the personal data in the review. I want to do this so that this gentleman stops his fraudulent practices. I have also already filed a report. He also asked me to withdraw this. Is all this necessary or am I within my rights?

Lawyer

You can withdraw the report and with the remark that the defendant has withdrawn, but have a report drawn up about this. Now that the defendant has paid, it is advisable to clear his name by indicating that he has paid you back.
