Legal Advice on Student Finance Problems

Dear Sir/Madam, I started a program in 2008. Due to medical reasons, I stopped in 2010. During my time in the program, I received student finance. This debt must be repaid if I don't complete my program within 10 years (by March 31, 2018). The debt will then be converted into a gift. In 2016, I started another program (at the same level), which I completed in June 2018. To convert the debt into a grant, I applied for an extension of the diploma period. Applications containing proof of discontinuation of the previous program were rejected by the DUO. If I want to appeal, I have to go to court. Can you advise me on this?Questioner
