Questioner
My employer is trying to force me to sign an addendum to the employment contract which includes a point stating that I may not perform any secondary activities during the term of my contract without written permission from my employer. The fine for non-disclosure has also been increased from 10,000 to 50,000. Am I required to sign this addendum? According to my employer, yes. If not, what could be the consequences for me? It is about permanent contract.Lawyer
Your employer cannot oblige you to sign a further amendment to your employment contract. You have a permanent contract. I therefore see no consequences. Your employer may consider you a 'less pleasant employee', but this cannot and should not disrupt the employment relationship. Do you have any questions? Please feel free to ask.Take the next step
