I ordered a wall unit from company X, This would be delivered by carrier Y. On two occasions, the carrier made delivery agreements that were not honored (without notice). Afterwards it turned out that the cause was a mistake by the carrier, due to the loss of one of the 8 packages. After the 2nd time, the order was therefore cancelled by X. For the delivery appointments (which had a delivery window of 3 hours) I had to take 2 half days off. In addition, I have discussed a handyman for the assembly, who could not accept another assignment at such short notice. My question is: Can I claim compensation for breach of contract?Lawyer
