Terminate mortgage contract? Get free advice!

A contract was signed on April 4, 2019 at a bank for mortgage advice, for which I signed to apply for a mortgage. This is no longer necessary because I can pay for the house from my own resources. Can I formally cancel this contract? The contract is binding, it is stated in the agreement. If so, how do I do that? Sample letter? Send by registered mail? If not, then tough luck?

If the circumstance that you can now pay for your house with your own resources arose after you entered into the agreement and this was not foreseeable to you (for example, you win the lottery), you can have the agreement annulled by the court due to future unforeseen circumstances. If the circumstance was foreseeable or already present at the time the agreement was concluded, you have had an incorrect representation of the facts and you must cancel the agreement due to error.
