Help with Scooter Insurance Problems

Questioner

I have an all-risk scooter insurance, now my scooter was stolen on March 15, 2019. It was found a week later by the police, completely stripped. The license plate is in my son's name and I pay the insurance. Now the expert from Reaal is being very difficult and questioned me whether I was the criminal and I felt like I was in court. To date I have still not heard anything and it is now April 26. In the meantime I had the scooter picked up by a scooter company on behalf of my insurance for the expert who would go there, unfortunately he was in the way and they brought it back to me. My question is what can I do about this because I think it is ridiculous that I still have not heard anything. My own insurance Pierre & Partners also does very little in my opinion. I hope that you will make me a little wiser about how or what I can do. Kind regards,

You can send a registered letter of complaint to the insurer in which you ask for a response within x days and also indicate that you want the damage to be paid as soon as possible. I would also send a copy of the letter to your own insurer and ask them to take action against Reaal, as you have an all-risk insurance. Please consult the policy conditions of your insurer first. If there is still no response, you can submit the complaint to the disputes committee. If you would like help with this, please contact me.

It's a shame that acquisitions are being done here again. Whose name is the scooter insurance in? Does your child only have a WA and you have an all risk? Why are you having problems with the insurance? What exactly does your insurance have to do with your child's insurance? Given that it is all risk and not just WA, could it be that the all risk insurance is not in your child's name? Does the all risk insurance state that your child is the driver? In any case, I read something that is not correct, there seems to be an overlap of insurance. If you have a second vehicle insured and the license plate is not in your name and you are registered as the regular driver, there may still be something wrong.
