Alimony after 18 years: What are your rights?

My son, who has autism and a mild disability, turned 18. He immediately found a job earning the minimum youth wage. Can my ex stop paying him child support, or is he obligated to continue paying my son until he's 21? No agreement has been drawn up. Only the child support was unilaterally agreed upon by me in court at the time.
