Rights in Contract Extension and Risk Analysis

Questioner

Working within an organisation that also has its own screening. My manager wants to offer me a permanent contract, but due to a legal issue from last year, there's now a problem with me not being able to pass the organization's own screening directly. The management at my workplace is in contact with the Security department of my work to get through the screening. My contract now expires on October 31, 2019, and I haven't received any letter or contact from my manager or HR about whether or not my contract will be extended. How long can such a risk analysis take? Now my question is to what extent I am entitled to an additional monthly salary payment, given the statutory one-month notice period, if my contract is not extended? It is now October 2, 2019

Questioner

There are no legal rules for the duration of such an analysis. Your employer is now late with the notice. You can claim salary for each day your employer is late, so now you're entitled to two days' salary. The question, of course, is whether this is politically wise if you want to stay with that employer. It is, of course, possible to do so later if it turns out you are not allowed to stay after all. Note: if your employer does not pay, a petition must be filed with the court within two months of the end of the employment relationship.

Questioner

I work in shifts, does this apply to every scheduled workday or to weekdays counting from Mon-Fri?

Questioner

This concerns (31 in October) calendar days. For each calendar day, a proportional part (1/31) of a monthly salary is due.
