I've been a IOAW beneficiary since February 2018. The municipality has inspected me and I have to submit all the documents from February 2018 to the present. This also applies to my wife, who owns a beauty salon. The salon's net income is reported to the municipality by email every month. Can the municipality now require me to provide all bank statements, salon purchase invoices, and invoice payments in paper form? These are over 400 pages long. The municipality now also requires us to report the hours worked in the salon? This was never required before, but now it is. Are we obligated to do this now? First, I refer you to my previous response. In principle, the municipality is allowed to request the annual financial statements of your wife's business. This also includes the bank statements for the last three months. If they want more, they will have to justify their request (there must be a reason). For the rest, I refer you again to a lawyer affiliated with the SSZ (www.ssz-advocaten.nl). They can provide you with further information.
