Anti-squat Housing - Rights & Safety
Questioner
My daughter was offered a squatted house in Haarlem. It turns out it doesn't have heating or hot water. They say you have to figure it out yourself. Is this allowed? It seems like a basic necessity to me. They don't rent boilers for squatted houses, and if everyone just uses an electric heater, that seems rather dangerous. I'd appreciate your feedback. The municipality may have an anti-squatting policy, which includes safety regulations and so on. Furthermore, what your daughter can expect also depends on the compensation she pays.Take the next step
