Liability for Construction Damage: Who Pays?

Good day I have my own small company, currently I am working at a customer in the bathroom that was delivered by Kasmiddelen. Now my question is, I have installed my water pipes and had to connect them to the builder's capped pipes that come out of the wall, but now these pipes have started to leak in the wall. And this caused damage to the ceiling below. Who is liable for this? If the builder had used proper materials, this wouldn't have happened. What should I do?

If it's established that the builder has culpably failed in their work and you are dependent on their work, then in principle the builder can be held liable. The point is that you or the client must prove this. An independent expert is often called in to precisely determine the problem if the parties are blaming each other.
