We live in a split-level house and have a view of our neighbor's shed from the kitchen. Now, they've suddenly added a window to the shed because they want to turn it into an office. They look straight into our house through the new window, and we look straight into the shed. I like my neighbors and get along well with them. But now I'm suddenly having to deal with them a lot. Naturally, our first step is to confront them about this. But we'd also like to know if it's okay to add a window to a shed that overlooks the neighbors.
