Good morning, Just received a letter from Eneco in Rotterdam stating that I have to pay €140.00 within 5 working days. I have already sent a letter to Eneco stating that it may not have been received correctly, but that the cancellation until the date the contract expires. To date I have not received any reaction from Eneco to my letter. Below is another reaction from Eneco. I also wonder how I can cancel early. How do I now get rid of Eneco and the possible prosecution? I can imagine that you want the amount of 100 euros back. We have correctly charged a fine of 100 euros. The contract at the delivery address Maasstraat 22 expires on 1 October 2012 and you terminated the contract on 11 August 2012. yours sincerelyLawyer
Apparently the termination was not arranged in the correct manner because apparently the contract was still running. I do not know what type of contract you had, but it could have been a fixed-term contract. Please look carefully at the contract and the general terms and conditions that you received at the time of entering into the contract.Take the next step
