Refund for Webshop Problems

We placed an order with an online store that required us to pay in advance. The store didn't deliver the product. We offered them the opportunity to rectify the situation, but they didn't comply. We then stated that we were terminating the agreement and requesting a refund within 14 days. This request was also not honored, so we sent a final reminder to refund the amount within 5 business days. Unfortunately, this request wasn't honored either. For consumer purchases, you can usually invoke your right of withdrawal within 14 days. In this case, you haven't received a product and the webshop hasn't fulfilled its delivery obligations. After a reminder, the webshop is in default, and you can then reclaim the purchase price. Since this hasn't been complied with, you can engage a debt collection agency to recover the purchase price.
