Can I plant a hedge in front of my neighbour's shed on my own property?

hello. I bought a house with a garden all around. I want to make a seat in the only really sunny spot in the garden. However, the shed of the neighbours is on the property line on that side and has several unglazed windows in the wall that is the border with my garden. So I can't really sit there freely, the shed is in or more part of the house and often used. Can I put a hedge in front of it on my own property?

That depends on how long ago the shed was placed with these windows. If it is less than 20 years ago, then you are indeed allowed to place a hedge or fence on your own property according to the rules.
