With my son on my lap I was on the BVA app. My son was busy so he accidentally pressed the button to bid. This resulted in a bid of 10k on a diamond ring. Because it was the weekend, an email was sent to BVA twice stating that it was a mistake. Finally the auction closed on Sunday with my bid as the only and highest bid. I immediately received an invoice. I called BVA on Monday morning and told them what had happened. BVA indicated that they could not do anything for me and if I did not pay, the financial department would contact me. I cannot pay. Can I have the agreement terminated?
