How do I get my money back?

Due to an earlier dispute, I received help from lawyer Herman Albersen via this site. The dispute resulted in a civil lawsuit for which a lawyer was also involved. After the lawsuit, I paid Herman's invoice for his hours, court fees of €297,-, and bailiff costs of €104.50. Shortly afterwards, I received the invoice from the lawyer with the court fees again, and showed his application for the lawsuit and his proof of transaction. He also showed proof that no bailiff was used. We have both been trying to get in touch with Herman for months about this 'mistake' of €401.50 in his invoice. But so far no response. That is why I am once again asking the legal aid office for help.

What an annoying and remarkable situation! I think that legal aid cannot do much more for you than your own lawyer. It seems that if you cannot get in touch with your debtor, you/your lawyer will have to take further steps. Perhaps a visit to his office/home address can provide clarification? Also in view of the current world circumstances, something may of course be going on.
