I would like to work on morality issues, what should I study?

Questioner

I am now 16, but I would like to choose a study in law in the future. I would like to do something with moral cases (such as sexual abuse, ...), it does not necessarily have to be defending, but I want to do something in the direction of helping victims in one way or another. What diploma would I need for this?

Lawyer

You can study law for this and then major in criminal law or criminology. You must then be in pre-university education. If you have a different education, you can inquire with Victim Support about what education you need to be able to work for them. You can also find a lot of information on the internet about victims of sexual abuse and how you can help these people. If you have specific questions, you could ask them to the victim specialists at my office.
