Company does not provide the purchased service
Questioner
Last year, through an introduction at school, we took a course for our daughter at a company for €75. This involved a live science show with tests and experiments at school a few times. Due to corona this was postponed several times, which was no problem for us. This was eventually cancelled and a voucher or an existing product of €50 was offered as an alternative. In an earlier email they indicated that a refund was possible. Now only the cheaper package or a voucher. There are parents who called and one was told that they did not provide refunds, but the other said it was an option. I was promised by telephone that we would get our money back, but given the circumstances I have no confidence in this. What are the options here to get our money back?Lawyer
In principle, you can cancel if the other party does not deliver and this creates obligations to undo. In other words, the purchase price must be refunded. In any agreed conditions, which I do not know, something else may be stipulated.Questioner
Dear Mr. van Orsouw, Thanks for the response. If there is no refund, what next? Yours sincerely, R DolléTake the next step
