Residential address and home address

What is the difference between a residential address and a home address? I live with a friend but I will have to deregister soon. Can I register with a family?

Dear, A residential address is where one resides and a home address is where one resides permanently or is resident. Of course, you may/can register with a family. Please note that this may have disadvantages for the mortgage because you are seen as an additional resident and are a co-payer of the home. If it concerns a rental property, various allowances may be reduced. If you are staying in a truck, caravan, houseboat or the like, you can apply for a postal address via your municipality itself or elsewhere.
