The neighbor's house has been sold but now the new owners are starting to cross the property line

Questioner

There was a ditch between the neighbors and me with grass and weeds and sometimes water in it. I closed it with their permission and put up a new fence. And only paid for but now it has been sold and now the new neighbors are starting to complain that the fence is 20 cm too far on their land. While I received a drawing from the land registry with the property boundary on it and the dimensions and that it can only differ by a few cm. And now they have had it marked out by the land registry and it is 60 cm. What should I do now?

I assume that the parties agreed at the time on the boundary determination and the placing of your fence that later turned out not to be on private land. I do not understand exactly why the two measurements differ, but in my opinion in this case there is a question of good faith, making agreements between neighbors who together determined a (new) boundary by closing the ditch and placing the fence. Buyers accepted this before the purchase and had a duty to investigate.
