What is the minimum width of a driveway from the road?

I have a driveway but unfortunately the entrance from the road is too narrow to be able to park properly on my driveway. There is no standard width for this. The intention is of course that it is possible to drive in from the half of the road that is closest to the exit, or to turn safely from the exit onto the nearest half of the road. Since you are always driving through a small flowerbed that was probably created on municipal land, that exit is too narrow. I do of course assume that you are skilled in steering properly. In the country you come across widths varying from 3 to 4 meters, this also depends on the situation on site. Since your exit is too narrow and all other exits in your area are wider, it is only reasonable if the municipality lowers the sidewalk over a larger width and facilitates a wider exit.

For this reason alone, that road connection should be wider.
