How can I get my property back?

Questioner

My ex-wife passed away on February 24th, I am co-owner of a number of things she had in her house. A cousin of hers did let the other people, including nephews and nieces, sort something out, but I was deprived of that right. Now I have received a number of things, but the valuable things of which I am co-owner, are not among them. As far as I know, there was only a will concerning my ex's savings and what should happen to it. I still want, if possible, my property back or at least, if there is no other option, the value of the things. In my opinion, that cousin is guilty of theft and receiving stolen goods because she knows very well that I am co-owner. What are my chances of success if I enforce it through law if she (cousin) does not return or compensate me for those things? Thank you in advance.

Because he is your ex, you may no longer have the right to claim the belongings due to prescription, and you are not an heir, I assume?
