Rental of practice space. Who pays for new sun protection?

Questioner

I rent out 2 practice rooms. The sun is now shining directly on those rooms during the day. Both tenants would like sun protection. Should I pay for that as a landlord or should they do that. Thank you very much

Lawyer

You rent out the spaces without sun blinds and the price is adjusted accordingly. You could increase the price. Incidentally, it is also the case that business rental obliges the tenant to maintain and renew if there are already sun blinds and tenants have accepted the condition of the objects. So I see no reason that you should pay for this unless the rental price is adjusted. But to be sure, I can check the contracts and the conditions.

Questioner

Thank you very much for the quick reply. If necessary I will gladly come back to you with the contract. Thank you very much, what a great service this is.
