Does the landlord have to reimburse the laundry costs?

We rent a furnished house, the monthly price for the furniture is €100. Now the washing machine is broken, this is properly reimbursed by the landlord. But we waited a week for the repairman, and he has to order a part, which means we have to wait another 1-2 weeks before it is installed. In the meantime, we use a launderette. Does the landlord have to reimburse these costs? If so, up to what amount?

I understand that your landlord is fulfilling his obligations in a proper manner. It is not unreasonable that such a repair may take a while and if parts still have to be ordered, you will also have to tolerate that, provided that everything is done within a reasonable period. Most rental agreements exclude any form of consequential damage, so in principle you will not be able to recover the costs of the launderette from your landlord.
