Recruitment agency does not accept offer from organization that wants to take me over.

Questioner

The organization where I currently work wants to hire me on a permanent basis, but the employment agency is asking for an absurd takeover fee. The organization has already offered the month of April as an extension, but the employment agency is sticking to their demand. The organization has then set an ultimatum in which they propose an additional month of extension, so that I can be hired on a permanent basis as of June 1. However, the employment agency shows its worst side and wants to be on the preferred supplier list as an additional requirement. The organization has already informed me that this will not happen in accordance with the stated requirements. The situation is as follows, if the employment agency does not agree, the organization will look for a replacement. I have a 0-hour contract that can be terminated immediately, but of course there is a non-competition clause of one year with sanctions. Question: Will it be UWV or will I finally be lucky and have a permanent job at the age of 55?

Lawyer

What the employment agency does is not allowed! You and your future employer must therefore immediately contact a specialized labor law attorney (member of the specialist association). Often the first consultation (max. half an hour) is free (see also www.zoekeenadvocaat.nl).
