What can I do if too many vacation days have been communicated on my pay slip?

My contract is not being extended by my employer. My pay slip states that I would have x vacation days. In a conversation with my employer, he said that this is an error in the accounting system and that more days have been granted than I would have accrued. The days on my pay slip are for a whole year, since the contract ends before the end of the year, have my days also been halved? Should I have known that the vacation days on my payslip were not correct? Or can I still claim them?

If the payslip contains errors, for example stating too many vacation entitlements, you will unfortunately not be able to claim them. The number of vacation days you have is determined by the extent of the work and when the employment contract ends, not by what is stated on the payslip.
