How can I stop my ex's benefits?

My ex no longer lives here, he is still registered with me. He applied for benefits but had to have an address, even though he lived with his brother. We have words with each other and I don't want him to get that benefit. My ex still owes me a lot of money. What can I do to stop this benefit with the municipality? Because I also want to have him deregistered at my address. How can I do all that?

I really wonder if he will receive that benefit if you have income from work, after all he is still registered and that means you still live together. You could also request an address investigation from the municipality.
