Terrorized by a cat that killed my pigeons

Questioner

I have racing pigeons as a hobby and am being terrorized by a cat. When I let my pigeons out and go back in, this cat is hiding somewhere to strike. This cat has now killed 8 of my pigeons and a handful have been injured. I have already been to the owners of the cat to talk about the situation, they find it very annoying, but they can't keep the animal inside they say. I am getting discouraged, so I ask you for advice.

Lawyer

The owner of an animal that damages someone else's property is in principle liable for that damage. But on the other hand, the pigeons fly freely, returning on command or not. There may be solutions that keep the cat out of the garden or on and around the landing and landing site. You may have to pay for that together.
