Problem with repairing electric bicycle

Questioner

I bought a bike on the marketplace, insured with X-bikes. On April 9, I reported that I had fallen and that the engine was making a strange noise, I also immediately mentioned that I had comprehensive insurance. They immediately said that a mechanic would come, after 2 weeks the mechanic came and found that the engine was broken and that he would order a new one, but I could just keep cycling, the noise became louder and louder until the engine broke down completely. Calling X-bikes to ask how long it would take for the other bike to arrive and that would be on April 30, 2021, but before that I called again that it would take a long time: is there no loan bike? They didn't have one, but on April 30 they would pick up my bike and bring a loan bike. The loan bike turned out to be without good brakes, so to make a long story short. I mentioned this and my bike demanded that it had to be repaired quickly, they decided to have a mechanic come and look at the brakes of the loan bike, but on the same day, after they made an appointment, I was called my bike was ready, I was in seventh heaven, had to wait another week until the bike could be delivered. I went to test, nothing wrong, the employee gave me a work order stating new engine €180. The next day I went cycling and it turned out that the engine made a grinding noise. When I wanted to file a complaint, they said they would send a mechanic. A week later, a mechanic came and found that the engine was broken. He ordered again. After I called the insurance company they told me: we don't know anything, you had to fill out a claim form, I thought huh? What have I gotten myself into here, who is fooling me? Another long complaint filed with X-fietsen, no response. I wanted to know why I am being treated like this as a customer? What interest do they have in helping me all the time (supposedly) while not a single claim form had been filled out. All I want to know is what I can do about this, customer service could do nothing but admit that it is a reconditioned engine not a new one, I am astonished I don't understand it. I would like to know what I can do about it legally. Please respond Yours sincerely

At some point you do have the legal right to terminate your trust in the seller's conduct due to fruitless repair attempts. I actually think that this is not yet the case, you could demand a deadline by which the bike is fixed (free of charge)
