We now have a beech hedge on the property boundary. We now want to place an aluminum wall with sun protection on the property boundary instead of the beech hedge. The gates do not want to look out onto a wall but want to retain the greenery. Of course, that is not possible together. What could be a suitable solution to place the wall on the property boundary?

A neighbour may always demand cooperation in the construction of a dividing wall instead of a shared green hedge. A hedge is not considered as such. But then you will have trouble with the neighbours because they may be attached to the greenery. In that case, you are also entitled to place a wall on your own property close to the property boundary. However, this can again cause problems for the lighting of the hedge and its maintenance.
