Am I entitled to get my money or the boat?

Purchased boat, paid a deposit but was sold to someone else. I paid a deposit on a boat yesterday. I was supposed to look at it today, time didn't suit him so he offered to return the boat for a higher price. I agreed and haven't heard from the person since. More bids were made and the ad was put on processing. Can I get my money back?
