Shared parking space

Questioner

A house buyer appropriates a permanent parking space for himself. It concerns a shared parking space of which I am 1/7th owner. I am standing in the parking space and he parks the car behind my car so that I cannot get out. The police did not enforce it. Is he allowed to do this. The police indicate that it is a private parking space, nothing can be done. Is this allowed?

Lawyer

It is true that there may be a violation or crime, but for the police this is not a priority. You could get your property back claim and if necessary impose a fine on each instance of unlawful taking which you will recover if the matter is not settled. You may contact me if you would like a letter to that effect.
