Letter from LBIO, do I have to pay child support in advance?

I have been paying child support since 2003. All that time paid before the end of the month. So January paid 30 Jan etc. So afterwards. Now after 18 years I am being reminded by LBIO that I am paying too late. And now they want to take over the payment and I suddenly have to pay in advance. Is this possible?

It is rather late that you are being reminded of this, but it is indeed true that alimony must be paid in advance if this is included in the court order. The amount for the month of January must therefore have been paid in December. I advise you to do this now, to prevent wage garnishment and additional costs from the LBIO.
