Changing visitation arrangements after divorce

If a contact arrangement has been written into the judgment, can the ex change this again at the court or must there be good reasons to be able to do so?

As parents of minor children, you are required to draw up a parenting plan in the Netherlands when you separate. The contact arrangement is part of this. Of course, circumstances change and when children grow, their needs and possibilities also change. The parenting plan is therefore a living document, in which you as parents will regularly review together what may need to be adjusted. Are you unable to reach an agreement together? Then a conversation with a mediator may be helpful. In the most extreme case, legal proceedings can also be initiated with a court case. This is the general answer.
