Personal contribution CAK and severance pay
Questioner
My husband will most likely be admitted to a nursing home in 2022. Due to a reorganization, I was fired in 2020 and received severance pay. The CAK looks at the income in 2020, which is the year in which I received my severance pay. Now my question is, does the golden handshake count as income for 2020? Can an exception be made for this? Otherwise I have to pay a lot while my income is actually much lower. What is your advice. Thank you, kind regards,Lawyer
That is quite possible in case of fiscal partnership: you could request a reference year shift or averaging or another distribution. I would certainly pay attention to this.Take the next step
