How is an error in the deed of sale corrected?

Questioner

We bought an apartment and the deed of sale states third floor. This is incorrect, it should be ground floor. We did not see or sign this. Now we want to sell our apartment again, but now the deed states third floor again. How can this be corrected?

Lawyer

You can go to any notary to change this in the land registry because it is an obvious clerical error or mistake that does not affect the content of the deed. The notary writes his findings in a report and offers it as an improvement in the Land Registry. (Article 42 paragraph 2 of the Land Registry Act.
