Fear of corona at new job

A few days off sick leave and I have a new job. Suppose I am very unlucky and get corona for example.. can my new employer find out that I have been on sick leave for a long time? I absolutely do not want to report sick.. corona is now my only fear. Then I have to stay home and report sick..

If you were to report sick to your new employer, they would not be able to see whether you had previously been sick with another employer. You report sick to your employer and, if all goes well, they cannot simply look into all sorts of systems. In addition, if there is no doubt about whether you have corona, an employer will usually not be quick to call in a company doctor or the like. Your new employer probably also prefers that employees with corona do not infect other colleagues. If you have a positive test result from the GGD, you can use it to prove that you actually have corona.
