Can I already register in another municipality?

I would like to live together with my boyfriend. He has a rental home in a different municipality than where I currently live. I own a home. Can I just deregister from my current municipality, register for his home in the new municipality? And then leave my house empty for 3-6 months, and then put it up for sale? Which parties could have an opinion about this (and what do they think about it?)

Your municipality can prohibit vacancy in an apv. Your bank can order you in the conditions to actually occupy your home: long-term vacancy is not desirable. The same applies to insurers because an empty house is a higher risk of damage. However, if this concerns a period of three months, there is no question of permanent vacancy.
