Pay differences in hospitals
Questioner
My colleague and I work at a hospital. That hospital uses various salary scales. We are now classified in scale 50, but we see that other colleagues (different department but similar work) are classified in scale 55. Ok, two new vacancies have recently been advertised in that higher scale. This concerns the same position as stated on our pay slip. An initial attempt to raise this issue via the department manager was rejected on the grounds that the other department was classified too high, while they are now advertising new vacancies in that higher scale. We have collected all kinds of information but now we are wondering what the next step should be: Works Council, FNV consultant, HRM, manager, etc.Lawyer
The CAO Hospitals has a function evaluation procedure. There is also an objection possibility (local and national). Please note that binding terms may apply.Take the next step
