What are my rights when I am dismissed from a zero-hour contract?

Questioner

My boss fired me after leaving work early. I have been working for this company for half a year (opening of the business). I have always fully committed myself to the company. Now I have been fired because I left 9 minutes early with the reason of refusing to work. This is because my boss said that a customer still wanted to order something. I have never been late, there has never been a conversation with me, I am fired like that.

Lawyer

I advise you to engage an employment lawyer as soon as possible for advice and assistance. You can contact me without obligation if you wish. My contact details can be found on the profile page. In any case, you must ensure that you have started proceedings with the subdistrict court within 2 months after the date of dismissal, if no other (satisfactory) solution is found in the meantime. Otherwise, certain rights will lapse and there may be adverse consequences if you were to apply for benefits.
