My employer terminated my contract on July 31st, without notifying me. My AOW started on August 15th, 2022, as I reached the age of 66 years and 7 months. According to my employer, an employment contract always ends on the 1st of a month. This means that I would miss out on 2 weeks of salary and what I actually find even worse is the emotional side of this story, since I have been employed for 34 years, with a permanent contract.
