Ex does not leave home after divorce.

My ex and I owned a house. I took it over and bought out my ex. We signed a covenant on July 11th, which states that the departing party has 6 months to find another home after the date of signing the covenant. However, it also states that if he has not found anything by then and can demonstrate that he has met his obligation to make an effort, both parties will extend the term. (it does not say how long). It is now February 8th and I have said that I want him to be gone by mid-February. However, I am afraid that this will not happen. What are my rights? What can I do?
