Applying for a visa for Morocco: Legal advice
Questioner
I would like to invite my sister-in-law from Morocco here for a short stay (holiday). I also submitted this application via the IND and it was rejected. I need help to submit a new application.Lawyer
I wonder if your sister-in-law has applied for a holiday visa? Or has another procedure been started? For help with a new application, you can better go to the Legal Desk in your area.Lawyer
Ir/Madam, A short stay visa is rejected for various reasons and the most common reason is because the Netherlands fears that the person in question will not return to his country of origin (in time). The applicant must therefore demonstrate his roots in his country by, for example, submitting proof that he has work there and must return in time, or has a house and family. If the rejection was not yet four weeks ago, I advise you to appeal against it. I or another lawyer can help you with this and there is an opportunity to receive legal aid for the lawyer's fees (www.rvr.org). If the rejection was already four weeks ago, I advise you to submit a new application. This cannot be done via a lawyer and must be done by the person themselves or the referent. However, you can be advised in advance about the documents to be submitted, etc.Take the next step
