Agree to illegal registration?

Questioner

My son has been living with his father for two months. This was supposed to be a temporary situation. His father is now asking me through a lawyer whether my son can be registered with him, but his address is not an official residential address and I do not want to agree to that. I understand that he is entitled to financial assistance such as child-related budget and child benefit, but I will not cooperate with an illegal registration. Can you give me advice on this?

If your son continues to live with his father, the child must be registered at the father's address. The child will then have his main residence with his father. The new main residence will have to be reported to the municipality. I am also curious why the address where his father lives is not an official residential address? Or why you think that otherwise you would be contributing to an illegal registration?

Questioner

Good afternoon, The address where the father lives is a studio that is not actually allowed to be occupied. He himself is registered at a friend's address. Now he wants to register my son with that friend and that does not feel right to me. By the way, my son is not sure that he wants to stay with his father, last week he was with me again.
