Can an employer impose other requirements?

Questioner

I am still in my probationary period (2 months) which runs until July 31, 2023. I now work in a residential group but I have indicated that I will leave this group and transfer to another group in the same organization. I have been hired for an indefinite period, now the employer says the following: This internal transfer has the following consequences for the arrangements made between you and your employer: - Your temporary contract for 36 hours per week will be extended until June 1, 2024, so that we can experience together what it is like to work in the family homes. My question is, is this possible? My contract states: NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: A. The employment contract is entered into for an indefinite period. B. Interim termination is possible for both parties in accordance with the collective labor agreement. ARTICLE 12. CAO YOUTH CARE. The collective labor agreement for youth care applies to this agreement as it is currently established and as it is amended during the employment agreement. The collective labor agreement forms one whole with this employment agreement. The employee declares that he can take cognizance of the contents of the collective labor agreement.
