What to do if you buy a bad camper?

July 9th we go to look at a camper. We see that there has been a leak but we are assured several times that the camper is 100% dry. However, when we get home and look at the camper the next morning in good daylight with great enthusiasm, our courage sinks into our shoes. Major changes have been made to the camper and certainly not in a neat way. Ok, it is an old beast so a bit of refurbishment, leaking spots, new wooden plate and 1 window roller blind replaced. But no unfortunately it had rained a bit and the affected areas became damp again. It got worse with some more rain and that heavy shower recently the water was in the frame and the water ran over the table via the roller blind. There is also a strong gas smell when trying out a few buttons. In short, we would like to undo the purchase instead of renovating against our better judgment.
