Supplier does not refund money

Questioner

On July 14th I bought a Terra cargo bike from you for 1984 euros (including delivery), it was delivered on July 21st. On July 31st I informed the wholesaler that I wanted to cancel the purchase during the cooling-off period. I have asked them several times (by email, telephone and WhatsApp) to have the product picked up, so that I could get my payment back. Initially they indicated that everything would be arranged and because the manager was on vacation, it would take some time before everything would be arranged. We are now a few weeks further and all attempts from my side to contact them are completely ignored. To date, I have not been able to make a concrete appointment to have the cargo bike picked up or to receive payment from them, as they do not respond to all my attempts to contact them. My question is what further steps can I take now. Should I arrange the transport of the bike myself and then demand again that they refund my money? Should I take legal action immediately? Or is there another procedure that I can follow to still get my money back?

It is important that a notice of default is sent to the supplier, with which further legal steps can then be taken to recover your paid monies. If you contact me further, I can assist you in this free of charge if desired. Greetings, Mr. Groenewegen, J.
